NAM (Non-Alignment Movement)

NAM (Non-Alignment Movement) The Government of Timor-Leste through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation participated in the online meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Ministers’ Meeting on September 30 2020.

During the meeting, Her Excellency Minister Adaljiza A.X.R. Magno applauded the important role of Bandung Principle in shaping global peace and stability. In addition, the Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of multilateralism framework and reaffirmed Timor-Leste’s continue support to the 17 listed non-self-governing territories, including Western Saharawi, and advocate for lifting of the embargo to Cuba.
